Photo Challenge: Sixes

An image of Molly - taken during Week 10 - ‘Just a bit’

A friend decided to get back into photography at the end of last year. I suggested we have a weekly photo challenge to help give some direction and motivation to his practice. Our challenge was to produce six themed images each week.

We both enjoyed it and have been doing it for three months.

I’ve ended up taking lots of photos of things I would never have done otherwise.

The first week’s theme was square-crop. I enjoyed that and decided to keep to squares for this challenge.

This post is a summary so far, the first ten themes.

Week 1 - Squares

Week 2 - Leaves

Week 3 - Minimal

Week 4 - Wide Open

Week 5 - Shadows

Week 6 - High contrast black and white

Week 7 - Street Furniture

Week 8 - Texture

Week 9 - Reflection

Week 10 - Just a bit
